Xilinx Alliance Program Overview
Membership Qualification Requirements
Xilinx looks for aggressive, third-party companies that take a proactive role in optimizing their products for efficient use with Xilinx devices and tools and/or providing expertise in designing with Xilinx devices. Our goal is simple: to foster relationships in an environment where the alliance member, Xilinx and our mutual customers all succeed.
The criteria required to become a Xilinx Alliance Program member are listed below. Companies must meet all of these to be considered for potential membership.
Products and/or Services Alignment
The alliance member will be contributing to a broad selection of industry-standard solutions dedicated for use with Xilinx programmable logic. Members must provide at least one of the following products or services for Xilinx' current device families or development flows:
- IP Cores
- Design Services
- EDA Tools
- DSP Tools
- Embedded Processor Related Products
- Board Level Products
- Integrated Circuits
- Electronic (non-IC) Components
Worldwide Customer Support
The Xilinx Alliance Program is considered a worldwide resource. Members that supply products need to have the staffing and infrastructure to support multiple customers from differing geographies at one time.
Company Stability
Xilinx has strong preference to work with companies that have an established track record of successful business for at least two years including completed transactions with users of Xilinx devices. We also require members to have a current and regularly maintained website.
Xilinx Field Alignment
The company must have worked together with at least one Xilinx direct FAE, sales representative, or Xilinx–dedicated distributor FAE for joint success where the Xilinx field representative is willing to act as an advocate for membership.
Compelling Joint Solution
The company's supporting products and/or services should at least assist Xilinx to penetrate a new application, market segment, or geography. Members need to be able to demonstrate compelling value for the joint solution.
